What is a cleansing balm, and how does it work?
Derm Dissolve Cleansing Balm is a water-free, oil-based cleanser that dissolves makeup, sunscreen, and daily buildup while supporting the skin barrier. Apply it to dry skin with dry hands. As you massage, the balm softens and turns into a lightweight
Can this remove waterproof makeup and sunscreen?
Yes. Derm Dissolve was formulated with an advanced triple-emulsifier system designed to break down waterproof formulas and SPF.
Does it leave an oily residue after rinsing?
No. It rinses cleanly without an oily after feel.
Do I need to follow up with another cleanser after using this?
It's not required. Derm Dissolve is a complete cleanser on its own. For heavy makeup, long-wear SPF, or if you prefer a double-cleanse routine, follow with a gentle water-based cleanser such as our Cream-to-Foam or Gel-to-Foam Cleanser.
Is the cleansing balm safe to use around the eyes?
Yes. Derm Dissolve has been ophthalmologist-tested and shown to be gentle, non-irritating, and suitable for the eye area. Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
Is the cleansing balm suitable for all skin types, including oily skin?
Yes. We use safflower lipids, which are rich in linoleic acid and well-tolerated by oily and acne-prone skin. The formula is also fragrance-free and essential-oil free for sensitive and compromised skin barriers.
Does it rinse off easily/cleanly with water?
Yes, it emulsifies and rinses away cleanly with water, no damp cloth required.
What size is this and how long will the cleansing balm last?
The 1.7 fl oz / 50 mL size typically lasts 2–3 months with daily use.

Yes. Derm Dissolve is fragrance-free, essential-oil free, and formulated for sensitive skin.
What is the packaging and why a grinder?

Can I use the cleansing balm if I’m on a retinoid or exfoliant routine?
Yes. The barrier-supportive lipids and gentle formula make it suitable alongside actives like retinoids and exfoliating acids.
I have celiacs, is it safe to use your cleansing balm?
The formula itself doesn't have gluten derivatives but we would always advise those with celiac that although all of our manufacturers follow good manufacturing practices to minimize allergen risks (cleaning before/after productions), we can’t guaran
