What's the difference between the 10% pure azelaic acid and the 5% glycinated azelaic acid, and why did we use both?Updated a month ago
We kept the pure azelaic acid at its trusted, dermatologist-studied 10% strength and added a gentler derivative to extend the effect further. The additional 5% comes from Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD), a glycinated derivative of azelaic acid that works through a second molecular pathway to extend and deepen what the pure acid is already doing, so you get more total activity than either form alone. It helps us create a crystal-clear, water-light serum while delivering more azelaic acid to the skin upon application.
